Check out all that chin slobber from teething!

Blog posts have been few and far between lately, I realize. So let's play a little catch up. We've been busy busy, so the only pictures I've taken in a while are the occasional snap on my iphone. I took a few when I got home tonight with my camera, just so I'd have some to post! Olivia's 7 and a half months now, and here's what's happening with her:
- Giggles with a squeal when she thinks things are funny.
- Officially says da da all the time. Still don't think it's associated with Colin, but who knows.
- Sitting up like a champ, and will go from sitting up to laying on her belly if she's trying to get to something. Not the other way yet, but she'd sure like that! She still hates being on her stomach. And still not crawling.
- Does not want to be in a room by herself. Don't leave Olivia's sight, or you're gonna hear all about it!
- Sleeping through the night right now very well. I moved her bedtime up from 10 to 9 a week or two ago and she's still sleeping 'til 6 or 7. And she's still so easy to put down for the night. We've got the routine down.
- Eating solids twice a day. Once in the morning (usually at school) and once in the evenings. We've been on Stage 2 foods since she was 6 mos. She's also still eating 6-8 oz of formula every 4 hours.
- Still teething, with symptoms worse and then better, worse and then better, but still continuous. No teeth in sight, but I can feel one on the top working its way through. . Come on toofies!
- On the subject of teething, she'll chew ANYTHING she can get her mouth on. Her fist, her feet, your arm, your face, the side of her paci, the chair arm (that's what she was working on in that last picture), just name it.
- Loves when you flip her around and hold her upside down.
- Olivia's obsessed with her laptop. This was our Christmas gift to her. It's really just a $12 Walmart vtech toy, but it's pretty freakin' cute. When you turn it on it says excitedly "It's my home computer!" It makes countless other noises, talks to her, sings songs, etc, and when you turn it off, it says in a sleepy voice "Let's go home." But all she's really interested in is chewing on the "screen". She gets very angry if she accidentally closes it and can't get her mouth around it. She much prefers this to teething toys and rings. Whatever works, right?
- Thinks Otis is very interesting, and locks her eyes on him when he's on the move, but sits with her mouth wide open in awe of Sarah and Rog's yellow lab, Lucy.
- Loves to be sung to (despite my horrible voice and probable tone-deafness) and cracks up when I dance for her.
- Still very dramatic. EASILY bored, angered, or frustrated. But forgives and forgets just as quickly.
- Adores patty cake and peek-a-boo.
- Kicks both legs like crazy when she's really happy or really not. And she's strong. It hurts if you're the one being kicked.
- She also loves my iphone. She's always after it. The slobber could be a water damage problem.
- So easy to love. Adorable, sweet, and has the most kissable cheeks you've ever seen.
she is such a combo of mom and dad. So cute!
