O's First Easter

As you can see, Olivia had an eventful first Easter.  Friday, CC wanted a quick photo op of O in her giant Easter basket.  It might have been a little too chilly to go topless, so that ended quickly.  While Colin and Bub went to play the ponies on Saturday, CC, Sarah, and I took O to Garvin Gardens.  It was gorgeous there, but Olivia was unmoved.  She was quite the grumps, and did not appreciate being put down to sit in the dirt among the tulips!  The only smiles we managed to get out of her the entire afternoon were when we picked her up...and even those were few and far between.  She's normally a very smiley girl.    And she was thrilled when we left.  Sarah read her a book in the car as we were headed out, and she giggled the entire time!  Tulips=torture.  Books=hilarious!  I hope this doesn't mean she's following in her father's neat-freak footsteps...they could totally team up against me.  We took our first boat ride of 2010, and life jackets are much better fitted than they were last year, although she seemed less relaxed since she didn't doze off.  Sunday morning, O got quite the Easter basket, including her adorable pink pup from Trixie, and she wore the pretty dress that CC bought her.  We just had a nice lunch at the condo before heading back.  We missed church this year, but all remember the reason for the season.  We'll do better with that next year, I feel certain.
